David Wax and Suz Slezak played their first show together a dozen years ago, sincwe then theyv’e released seven records, had multiple Top 20 chart placements and performances alongside contemporaries like The Avett Brothers and heroes like Los Lobos.
The band’s sound is filled with husband-and-wife vocal harmonies, Mexican stringed instruments, melodic hooks, and blasts of brass.
